Kabetogama Historic Society is a group that has done a fantastic job or remember the people and past history of the area. Truly a fun site to look at...my hope is to get more people interested in the area's history. Click the above link, but more to come on this, add if you can help with information. Thank you!
Josh McMahon started and maintains a great FACEBOOK page on old photos and postcards of Kabetogama if anyone hasn't scene. Great site to checkout and enjoy some history.

I have a booklet about Kabetogama by John Salmi published in 1972. A little yellows on edge but otherwise I’m pristine condition. Includes several pictures of the area and it’s “old timers and their families who settled here” Wondering if you would be interested in it. My father loved taking us to camp and fish there in the 1960’s and 1970’s. He also helped with the Gunflint Trail area while in the CCC in the 1930’s! Look forward to hearing from you, if not interested let me know if you know of other agency or group that might like it. Sarah Livingston contact me at jennieliv@yahoo.com
Thanks! I may have that one as well but they are out of circulation, so I’d love another copy. I’ll email you
